"Create Some Space in your Rack!"
The ReMark Rack Divider is an organizational tool designed by Reason users for Reason users. But don't be fooled - this simple looking device has a few tricks up its sleeve. In its default state, ReMark is a blank one-unit rack panel with a tape label, but it can be transformed with additional text and colors for further organizational bliss.
In addition to using ReMark as a blank rack panel, there's a text box for quick identification. Double-click in the center of ReMark to modify the text block. The tape label combined with the text box allows for various descriptive possibilities like simple outlining or grouping related ideas.
To add a color to ReMark, simply click and drag upwards in the area to the left of the tape strip or to the right of the text box to select the colors. Both the text and the colors are visible and editable from the main and folded view, and there's a color selector pop-up on the rear and rear folded views as well. The pop-up selector allows you to see all the names of the standard Reason colors, making matching other device's color a breeze.
Finally, for those who want to have a little fun, the color selector can be automated from the sequencer or controlled from a Combinator button or knob. When inside a Combinator, you can even use a CV to control the panel color for a psychedelic effect to impress your friends and confound your enemies!
Brought to you for free from Selig Audio and Pitchblende, with special thanks to all those on the Reason Forums who contributed the initial idea and additional suggestions for ReMark.
Specifically, thanks to: themensch for the original idea for a community RE; NoelGMusic for this specific idea, julibee for the name; LC123 for some key graphic suggestions.
